The improvements in today’s digital control systems are making the upgrade of outdated systems more attractive and economical. Old digital control systems are difficult and expensive to maintain and often hard to operate. One cost saving method of upgrade is a “wire for wire” swap.
During this process the existing control wiring is removed from the old controls one loop at a time and reterminated on new controllers in the same panel. In most cases the old sensors, actuators, and power supplies can be reused as a cost saving measure.
We have been doing “wire for wire” upgrades for years in a variety of systems ranging from surgery rooms to office buildings with no interruption in service. If you are frustrated with your old control system and would like to discuss upgrading please contact us.
